How to Improve Realism in Portraits Using Flux?

Hi everyone, I’ve been learning to generate portraits using Flux, but I’m struggling with making the skin look more realistic. My main issue is that the skin often looks too plastic-like and dull. In my workflow, I’m already using Latent Injection and Ad Detailer, but I’d appreciate any advice on how to make the portraits look more lifelike.

I usually use samplers/schedulers like DPMPP_2M/BETA and EULER/BETA, and I’ve tried varying the CFG scale between 0 and 3. However, there are so many variables to consider, and I’d love to know which settings tend to work best for achieving more realistic results.

What other techniques, settings, or adjustments would you recommend for improving skin realism? How to make the light more realistic, skin imperfections and the hair?
